AIR POLLUTION

Car and truck
emissions, burning coal, oil, and other fossil
fuels, manufacturing chemicals, dry cleaning, and degreasing and
painting
operations all cause air Pollution. They all release particles into the
air and
when they accumulate in high concentrations, they are harmful. Given
the high
amount of air an adult breathes a day, and the even higher amount of
air
children breath, pollutant sin the air can be harmful and cause serious
health
concerns, such and burning eyes, irritated thoughts, and breathing
difficulties.
More harmful are the long tem effects, such as cancer and long-term
damage to
the immune, neurological, reproductive, and respiratory systems. In
extreme
cases, it can even cause death.
