New York's Water Supply

Problem:
Should New York City's water continue to be unfiltered or should we start to filter our water?

Hypothesis:
New York City's water supply should remain unfiltered.

With the growing concern of the safety of New York City's water quality, five CUNY Honors College students studied New York City's water contaminants such as phosphorus, multi-cellular organisms, protozoa, and lead.  This research was conducted while attempting to conclude whether or not New York City should begin to filter its water.  After analyzing data, judiciary acts, history, a comparison with London's water supply, and the effects of these contaminants present in our reservoirs, we have concluded that we do not need to filter our water.
